Posted May 17, 2016 Hey guys Recently my new Pc arrived and I had some problems with the gpu . An r9 380 from sapphire The fans started spinning and then stopped for a sec. I thought it was the PSU so I changed the VS650 to a Seasonic S12II 620W Now,i built everything, set it up and it still does the same as it did before. The gpu fans start spinning and then stop after 2 sec and I get no signal. Here are the parts http://pcpartpicker.com/p/VKYpxr The mobo has ez debug leds and the vga led is turning on what can I do? Posted May 17, 2016 does the gpu overheat? do the fans start spinning once you put some workload to your gpu? i mean don't worry about your gpu overheating so much that it will break, your pc will be shut down before that, and if thats the case you still gonna rma that because its defective. what that would accomplish is that for example my gtx 970 has 0db mode, when the fans don't spin when they don't have to. your might have the same
 Posted May 17, 2016 The fans should actually stop. Here is a quote from Sapphire's site: Quote Intelligent Fan Control II Intelligent fan control allows one or more fans to be stopped for lower noise when the card is under light load and automaticaly restarted when the card temperature rises But it's weird that you don't get a signal. Try running a game or a benchmark (Heaven, Valley, FireStrike, etc) and see if they start spinning. Monitor your GPU temp and if for some reason they aren't spinning up shut down the benchmark before temps get out of control.
