MSI G272QPF E2 27 vs Alienware 27 Gaming Monitor - AW2723DF

 

im looking at these two monitors for starting university Is there a large difference. I atm have an AOC monitor and i find it fine its 1440p and 144hz (i think its VA), its fine for fps games however I do really miss playing rpg and open world games on a tv because they just look so much better. Im going to be using it for gaming, photo editing and game engine use. Any other monitors under £500 can be recommended too either 4k or 1440p but i dont really mind what the HZ is as long as its above 144 (not looking for super high refresh rate).
