Black tower coolers?

Planning on building a mini iTX machine in an EVGA Hadron Air whenever they come available, but I don't want a huge nickle tower cololer boogering up my aesthetics! I was hoping to get recommendations on nice, black, tower coolers that are compatabile with this case. The specs put it at around 6 inches wide, which would mean you'd beed a tower cooler no larger than 140mm. Looking forward to your suggestions!

A black cooler under 140mm is kind of hard, have you considered an AIO? The only thing you can probably use is low profile with a black fan.

Well poo. I don't suppose theres anyway to paint or color a heatsink without it be detremental to it's performance is there? Be it anodizing or otherwise?

You can try get a smaller tower cooler, taping off the sides and painting the top of it.

 

It will make most of the visible area on it black and not affect performance

 

Yeah... I may just have to suck it up and get a Noctua heatsink and replace or paint the fans. I'm sure I can work something out.

i taped off my NH-D14 for a white black theme:

 

 

be careful on fan painting as most tend to over paint the blade assemblies and make

them unbalanced making noise and killing the very thought of why you chose that cooler.
