Outdoor Security Camera

I want an a security camera for my front door. I don't really want to mess with wiring. What are some good choices for wireless cameras?

All depends on your budget really.

One thing I want to point out is that most wireless security cameras use batteries... just so you know.

Although they are newer, they are fairly decent as well. I have not personally seen them so I cannot say for sure though.

I would suggest you take a look at Ubiquiti's product line.

We use these in my work place and so far they are performing great.

Some of there small cameras use a wifi connection instead of Ethernet, meaning little or no wires to fuss around with.

Not to mention there video recording software is super easy to use. ^_^

Agreed its not always the camera you want to look at, it is the software as well. I have used many Security camera systems, some great, some poor, some midway but the the software was either kinda good, very shoddy or very easy to use.

I should have mentioned that before.

Here a link to their site for you.

https://www.ubnt.com/unifi-video/unifi-video-camera/

As for pricing I am not sure, Link below is their distributors

https://www.ubnt.com/distributors/

I looked at the distro sites but found no pricing, I am fairly certain the pricing is a solutions deal so you will have to contact them.

The small (wifi enabled) security cameras cost around £70-100 on there own.

You can however buy bundles of 3 and 5 which result in a cost saving.

Used 4Gon in the past for both wifi ap's and cameras.
