RAM Query

Hey,

I am going to build a new system and was unsure when it came to RAM.

I currently have - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004CRSM4I/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And am thinking of getting - http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233852

I can overclock the new ones but would this be faster/better?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

One is DDR3, other is DDR4. I don't see what are you trying to say..

Ram speed doesn't not matter in any normal user scenario, but if you do gaming or multitask, videoedit, or another heavy task they 16gb would be better than 8

DDR4 RAM is not the same as DDR3 RAM. If your current computer uses DDR3 then you need to buy DDR3 RAM.
