So I'm having some odd problems with my PC.

Specs:

I5 4670K CPU

R9 290 Graphics card

MSI Z97-G55 Motherboard

8 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM

Corsair CX750 PSU

Issue number one:

Every time I turn it on the screen stay black and then loads up the windows login screen. No showing the BIOS screen, no showing the motherboard manufacturer logo nothing. I found this issue only happens when I have a graphics installed but have tried different cards and still the same problem.

Issue number two:

So this one's a bit more on the odd side. My computer will randomly start up if it hasn't been turned on that day. For example, if I've been out all day, get back late and just go to bed, at about 11 (time varies) my PC will just start up. No error messages or updates to be installed or anything. I have changed my PSU and even house and it still happens every day without fail. If I start the computer in the morning and then turn it off it won't start up in the evening. It only does it if it hasn't been on all day.

Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

Well if that isnt creepy I dont know what is...

Have you had the Wake on LAN feature enabled?

Also in your BIOS under Power Management you will find AC BACK or something like that . If it's set to Always on, set that to Always Off or Memory.

I think the first one might be Quickboot. That's pretty common.

The second I have had happen before. If you have Windows 10, it tends to be the updates feature, it's just won't notify you that it's updated in that case. Check your scheduling and make sure there's nothing like that in there.

the 1st problem is maybe quickboot was enabled..

meaning it wont show off bios unless you start pressing DEL/F8

depends on what key to strike..

the 2nd problem, well kinda creepy.. just unplug your power cable or

turn the psu switch off when you are not using your pc..

hehehe

Quick boot is definitely not enabled. Wish it was, might make things easier. I think it's a problem with the motherboard but lucky it's not too bad, just inconvenient that's all. Planning an upgrade soon anyway.

I have to turn it off at the wall when I go away for the weekend. If it still turns on then I may have to call  an exorcist.

Thanks for the help though
