Help getting a wifi adapter

so in my situation, running an ethernet cable from my router to my computer is very very difficult and requires drilling through holes, so im getting a wifi adapter, the problem is that i dont know whats good and whats bad, i play dota 2 and im on youtube like crazy so i need a stable connection 

 

 

and recommendations?

will be more than enough and should provide good range and signal
