A GTX 750ti and 4 extra gigs of RAM..

Wait ..you do  game right?

Else, just the 4 gigs of RAM

When lyfe gives you HDDs, make SSDs

this is not for me I have 4 titan x's in my system it's for a friend

`-`

i would save up more and buy an entirely new rig

or you could sell one of your titans and he should have enough for an entire rig

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I did something similar yesterday.

For only 800 DKK 85 pounds i turned an extra dell home pc into a pretty good gaming pc.

Store-bought pc's like these often has pretty good CPU's, but bad graphics cards giving bad FPS.
So as simple as it sounds: Change the graphics card. (read the entire answer first though. xD)

Buying new components for an old pc is waste  go buy used.
This was my first time buying used and it turned out pretty well.
Just agree to see the GPU working when buying it, if he wont then find another seller.
And if you are not feeling secure about the seller, then find another. :)
I got an EVGA 750TI (even the FTW edition) used for 50 pounds.
Together with the i7 4790 that was already in the pc, it went from 40 fps in cs:go, to over 200.

The price was originally 80 pounds, but i said that i would pick it up right away from 50. (thats a good sales trick, often gives you it for a good price.)

Remember!:

You do though properly need to change the Power supply. 500W should be enough. I got a 600W brand new for 30 pounds.
If the card needs a 6-pin or 8-pin connecter, than make sure that the Power supply has that.

Also remember to make sure that the card fits inside the case!
Sometimes drive cages are in the way, or sometimes the card is to thick.

I actually forgot that i could just have giving you this video with Linus explaining everything.

Feel free to contact me by writing @L0gic, then i'll help you.
Just make sure everything fits before you go spend money.

Yes, the username is cringe.

When using ebay look at their feedback. go with someone that is established as a reputable seller.

Xeon e5-2670, Intel DX79sr, 16gb g.skill Ares, evga sc 780ti, antec 750 80 plus gold, Phantek Entho pro case
