nvidia game stream trouble shooting

Having issues with getting nvidia game stream running from my pc to my shield console. I have an edge router x sfp running the newest version of edge os along with a xclaim x-i3. I can't get the shield console to recognize my computer as I keep having connection issues. I've disabled windows firewall. I've also have been unable to get google chrome cast to work.
