PC Cooler size

I was considering buying a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo but I was Questioning if it would fit in my build due to the RAM I have installed. My components are listed below:

Motherboard: Asus Z97-P

RAM: Corsair Vengence Pro

Case: Corsair Carbide Spec-01

 

If you believe this would not fit then can you please recommend one that will.

It will not. Look at the Cryorig H7. About the same price as the 212 Evo, but it's 145mm tall and will fit (you have 150mm clearance), it's quieter, and it performs a little better.

Ok thank you very much this is what I thought at first glance. But will this fit with the ram I have?

I just finished my build yesterday and LOVE the Cryorig H7. Highly recommend it.

Yes. The Cryorig H7 has infinite RAM clearance.

A word of advice when installing that cooler, install the STOCK heatsink first for the system post. Once it works, you can install the aftermarket cooler. It was the hardest part of my build last night. Install the motherboard in the case first if it has a cutout on the motherboard tray, then lay the case down and slide it off the table slightly so that you can see the screws. Then install the heatsink and screw it in from the back. DISCLAMER: Use common sense when doing this. This worked for my NZXT S340 case, I have no idea if other cases will have the ballast to stay on the table, especially ones with top mounted psus. My PSU was already mounted in the bottom of the case when I did this.

Yep. The cooler and fan are set back from the RAM slots, so there's no clearance problem at all.
