Hello guys, i have been running into regular errors for a while now, but i have recently discovered more info that might be able to help you help me.
I am a CSGO gamer, and when i play CSGO, my ping sometimes suddenly start acting like a rollercoaster. My internet is basicly horse ****. So i though that was my issue.
However, after months of me loosing my "things" over this. I realised a simple restart would temporarily fix it. This is only a problem that i only have at my fathers place (or atleast so i believe). I still think it is a PC error but i am not smart enough to figure it out myself.

Thank you very much in advance, and let me know if you need specs or other information.

Have you used http://www.pingtest.net/ to check for packet loss? I would say run it a couple times at least to get a good idea.

If your PC works fine somewhere else it might be the hardware you're connecting to (router, switch, wifi repeater)

Maybe try a hard reset that will put all settings back to factory defaults?

Or maybe just a crappy internet connection, some more prolonged testing should give you a better picture of that.

Does you mum know you're here?

My brothers are running fine on the internet, so i guess my question is.
Can hardware cause internet issues. I mean if restarting my pc can fix it, i must be my pc or something

What version of Windows are you running and did you do a clean install or upgrade from a previous version?

It's possible the drivers are bad or incompatible, maybe try uninstalling the network drivers and installing the latest from the motherboard mfg website.
