DVD+RW questions

Can I put linux in my dvd+rw , recover my files and then delete linux, brn windows 7 and install it on my laptop? Do DVD+RW disks work like this?

you can't run os on a dvd if that's what you're asking, or maybe you can, linux is strange

wtf is a live cd? How do I recover my files then? Bootable USB? Link any guides if you can, this is bullshit..

And do DVD+RW work like that? You burn iso, and then you can delete and burn again? or no?

you can reburn a dvd+rw, but adding files is a different thing complety, i remember windows could somehow do that...

AFAIK you can't delete files which are burnt to disc. You can add files if you leave session open. If you have 4gb or bigger USB drive, you can use that for as many OS boot drives as you like. Just keep formatting it between.

 

Yes, you can use live-CD to recover files. You will still need 2nd drive where to copy them to. It must be separed from drive where corrupted OS is located.
