Hey guys! I have been having problems booting my computer lately. Every single time I boot my computer it flashes the 'f1' screen which I am fairly certain signifies an error. All of my BIOS settings are wiped, so I cannot overclock or tweak settings. I am getting annoyed and I'd like some help. It started when I switched from HDMI to DP. I have tried a few things but nothing seems to work.

System:

Z97 PRO-GAMER Asus Motherboard

Intel i5 4690k @ 3.5Ghz

GTX 970 4GB MSI

Samsung 500GB SSD

DDR3 RAM @ 1333Mhz 16GB (2x8)

The 4790k is an i7. Do you mean the 4690k? That is stock speed I assume.

Does your MOBO manual have any description for that error? (F1)

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001
