I've been using my VG248QE for a few months now and it has performed perfectly and all but I've been seeing people say that the monitor doesn't really have good colors. Being that this is my first ever monitor beside laptops, I haven't noticed it. Now, I have looked around and have noticed people using different color options as seen here https://m.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/3c8fpi/the_old_thread_for_just_bought_a_glorious_asus/

Has as anyone with this monitor changed the settings and found it to look better for games like CS:GO & GTA V?  I have also heard of Lightboost but a friend who uses it told me that it might not be good for me since I play extremely competitive CS:GO (Esea) thanks in advance.

Monitors usually don't come from the factory calibrated so the colors are typically off until you calibrate it yourself. You need to calibrate it yourself to have more accurate colors and the only issue that might arise in CSGO is that your dark areas might be too dark to see players in which you can change pretty easily. As far as lightboost goes, it's meant to reduce the motion blur of high refresh rate monitors at the cost of degraded color.
