Cooler Master 430 Elite

ok... sooo i bought a gaming desktop last year and i didn't know alot about computers then, but now i know alot more and realised that it was stupid of me to buy the pc i bought

it was priced around 1000 dollars and here are these specs

Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V LX

CPU: Intelcore i5 2400 3.1 Ghz

RAM: 4gb kingston hyperX

Case: cooler master elite 430

GPU: gainward gtx550ti

PSU silver power 500W

Now aobut a year later i have done some upgrades to the PC but i don't seem to get the right FPS in games

i got myself a Asus Directcu ii, 8GB of corsair vegeance ram, two corsair AF 120 quiet edition fans and a Akasa led strip cause blue light makes everything 10000x times faster ;)

anyways im woundering if there is a bottleneck with the CPU, but i'm not sure so i'm asking you! do you think that i have any bottlenecks in the system? and if so which new parts should i get. i'm also thinking about getting an SSD and a bigger power supply.

Also the cable management was a royal pain in ass because this case is rubbish when it comes to that part,

And before you ask. i payed for this myself with the money i earned from my part time job.
