I live in India and I am looking at purchasing a 1070. I am a bit confused by the launch day availability. From what I understand, on the 10th of June, only Nvidia's founder's edition cards will be made available right? Or will there be $379 variants too? I am going to have someone pick it up for me on the 10th, so I'm a bit confused.

I understand that I might not be the only one with this query. If this has been answered in another thread please link me the thread, I will delete this post then.

It is most likly that the founders editions will be released before since these are only "reference" cards and if they have a +100$ fee than there must be a reason

It's likely that the board partners have their models with better coolers ready at that date.
