GPU Problem

My computer is: - Asus ATI Radeon HD 6870 DirectCu - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition - M4A87TD/USB3 - Seasonic 550W PSU - Kingston 4GB RAM - Aerocool PGS Vs-4 Case

Hello My GPU fan randomly speeds up to full speed and after few seconds screen goes black and i have to reboot. Sometimes it'll go black without loud fan, and sometimes fan is loud but screen won't go black. Usually I hit my case with fist when fan speeds up and it instantly helps with sound but often screen will still go black. This happens randomly, playing games or surfing the web. It't definitely nor an overheating problem as i checked everything with software and even touched my GPU after such accident and it was warm but not hot. I thought that it may be PSU problem, or cable issue but I reattached all of the cables and it still happens. ATM I can't check if changing PSU or any other type of hardware will help, but I'll try do do it ASAP.

unitstall CCC and all drivers. reboot and reinstall

Your issues could really be any part.  First step, swap the GPU with something else and see if the problem persists.
