GTA unplayable

I have a 970 and I have been playing a lot of gta 5 with my friends. I  get 60 most of the time, but now when i get on gta the game is unplayable. I will get a few frames every 3-5 seconds and well you can n ot play a game like that. IT was using almost all of my v-ram, but the game said it should only 1.5 gb. I turned the graphic down a lot and it did not help ether. Why is it doing this?

Drivers up to date? Try uninstalling and re-installing both the game and the drivers? Try the drivers first then do a fresh game install if it does not help. Also, if its on steam, verify the game files.

I will try to verify it because i dont feel like reinstalling 60 gb on a data cap of 300 a month

TWC for life (unlimited data) Try the drivers as well. That wont take long or much data. Use DDU.

I will update the drivers and all i can get is comcast or windstream and windstream is very expansive for very little also they have a lot of down time.

If updating does not work do a full uninstall and reinstall.

im not that dumb, altho my friend just built his first pc and keeps thinking he can use the mobo. (I yell at him)
