You're not going to get full Gigabit out of WiFi, especially not with a range extender. But if what you want is a wireless bridge (basically a wireless client you can plug things into) then there are things that in theory can get upto 500Mbps or so. My understanding is that something like the Asus EA-AC87 will do what you're asking pretty well. 5x Gigabit ports, AC1700 and in bridge-mode by default. That's probably the "best" option for what I think you're asking.

Alright! I'll look into it. The type of extender I'm looking for is one where you connect the extender to your WiFi and then you can plug ether nets into the extender. Thanks!
