Yeah the stupid small storage.  When you play a game, does that empty HDD matter at all?  Get your head out of your butt.  Storage is something you can add on as needed.

Would that motherboard be compatible with a laptop hard drive or well like 2 of them because I've two old ones lying around

The mobo has native support for SATA, so yes.  Even if they are older IDE drives, you can buy an adapter to connect them to the SATA ports on the mobo.  The adapters are cheap.
