Problem with mouse lagging

Hi, first, this is my hardware (It could help maybe)

 

- GTX 960

- Core i7 4790K

- Samsung evo 850 500Gb SSD

 

So, yesterday, I upgraded my CPU to an i7 4790K, when I rebooted, my computer work perfectly, but at the second reboot,

My mouse pointer started lagging... It's not even possible to play minecraft

 

It's doing that when my CPU is under load (when I launch a game) and at startup

 

Hope some one can help me out, thanks ! (SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH)

Go to Control Panel>Mouse. From there click on Pointer Options, and change the speed to the way you like. You can check the Enhance pointer precision button, but it's not neccesary.

What cpu did you have before you upgraded. Also, don't think it'll work, but try to reinstall the mouse driver

Also, is it lagging because the entire computer is lagging, or is only the mouse lagging.

It's only the mouse lagging

 

Well, the CPU I had before is... (please dont laught)  a Celeron !!!!

Thats odd, did you try reinstalling the drivers? Also, is stuttering or still smooth but lagging. If it is stutterning and you are running Windows 8.1, you should try dowloading this service pack:

Yes, I've reinstalled the drivers. And the mouse is totaly stuttering (It's like the mouse stays at 2 FPS)

 

I'm gonna check the service pack and tell you If it resolves the problem !

Also you could try using a spare wired mouse, if you have one. If there still is a problem, boot into safe mode.

Oh no, I forgot, I'm running windows 10...

and, yes, I trie an other mouse, but It did not change anything

Reinstall mouse drivers?

Yes, tried rolling back from the update, but didn't change anything

The two, the mouse driver update came with the windows update

But, the kag came well after the update, It came after the CPU swap

I think i'm going to downgrade to win 7...

because I never had problems with it, Microsoft still have a lot of work to do on windows 10
