Hi, i have a Asus z-97p motherboard and HyperX ddr3 fury @ 1600hz. And in bios its says "XMP: DISABLED" and i cant change the setting. Do i need to have xmp setting on the memory ?

Yes, your memory needs to support XMP profiling for you to be able to enable it. At least as far as I know.

You can always manualy overclock your RAM though, but thats probably the hardest thing to do out of any OC'ing which ontop of it yields very low performance increase.

@Nord or quote me if you want me to reply back. I don't necessarily check back or subscribe to every topic.
