Seagate Backup Plus Slim

Go to solution Solved by TheRandomness,

I swear there's a thing on Windows that lets you backup certain files every time you plug it in.

Was it worth it? I got the 1 TB for $54.99 at Walmart. Attached are some benchmarks & pictures of the drive. It's not that fast, but it doesn't need to be. It's a backup drive. However for backups, what would be the best software?

OK. So now it's worse. Umm. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be worse. Every HDD will have slower speeds with 1GB instead of 50MB.

yup, but with backups these speeds are much more realistic since you don't have a 1 GB cache and those 50 MB speeds use the cache in the drive :)
