Steam link was my first choice, but after trying both the link and a decently powerful streaming PC, I decided the latency was too much.

were you using ethernet? i streamed to my shitty laptop and i noticed the latency, and i wouldn't have played say a competive FPS with it, but it really wasnt bad. Anyways, if streaming is out of the equation, you either have to do long HDMI cables (or HDMI over ethernet for cheaper) and lose the USB ports, or run something like a USB C or Thunderbolt if your PC has either of those down to where you need it (this will be expensive BTW) and then attach something like this (find one thats not overpriced apple if you decide to go this method). Other than that, your going to have to run long USB extenders and HDMI through the wall, and it wont be cheap.

Edit - just thought of another option, wireless KB/Mouse + HDMI, i have this for my TV and it works from very far away, across levels of my house even.

Gaming. going for a fully functional kind of remote gaming station.

I'm looking for 2 usb and a monitor output.

Steam link?

50$ you get 2 USB HDMI and ethernet, and it allows you to stream your PC to that device, while that device returns KB/Mouse input.
