I have the ability to purchase a 32 GB SSD for 10 bucks, it will be my boot drive for my HTPC. Would that be enough for windows 10 and chrome?

I should mention there is a 1tb HDD in the PC, so i do have mass storage.

yeh it would be enough for just windows. tablets run on 32.

hmmm seems interesting... the PC does have a g3258 but the hard drive is slow as shit, like it has 8mb of cache.

yes windows 10 running fine on my 32gb tablet.

Then it must have the Intel chipset too. Unless it's some obscure OEM board, it surely supports the tech. It's not going to be as fast as a solo SSD would but worlds faster than any HDD ever. The speed gain and the space aren't even the only benefits. The SSD can fail at any time without corrupting the OS. :D If you install the OS onto the HDD, you can add and remove the SSD later. But clean and fresh Win 10 will fit just fine on the 32GB SSD alone. It's just that it bloats if you don't keep it in check.

Windows 10 requirements state 16GB of space as a minimum.
