Recently I purchased a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard with an FX-6300 along with it. While building the computer with 8GB RAM as well and a graphics card, the monitor displayed "No Signal." We traced the issue back to the case (A Cooler Master HAF XB bench) where the HD Audio Cord was messed up, and the motherboard worked with every other cord plugged in as well. However, when the second Cooler Master we have is tested, the HD Audio causes it to send a "No Signal" message to the monitor again. Oddly enough, the system will ping on my friend's Corsair case when the HD Audio is plugged in. It's very unusual BOTH cases don't work but the Corsair does? Are there any solutions to this or should I just get another case??? I'm on a budget build as I'm 16 and creating my first PC.

That sounds a bit odd, can you lie without front audio? if so, just leave it unplugged.

Yes I can, i was just wondering if this was a major thing, and can be fixed with a case as my friend's wasn't as heavily used as these two cases I had. Sorry for the double reply, I'm new to the forum.

Upping your post count I see? ;)

It's not a major issue. Likely a short in the wire. If you can make do without front panel audio, then just don't worry about it. Not much you can do other than rewiring the front panel
