I want yall to say where I am right in these points & correct me where I am wrong

Now put Alienware , XPS or Envy aside & compare normal Branded pcs with Custom ones

Only a noob would refer to a Custom pc as ''Non/Un Branded '' they fail to realize that the parts are Branded & do they even know the meaning of non branded? non branded means china made meaning no brand made it where as Custom pc parts are made by brands such as Gigabyte , Asus , Evga , Corsair , G.Skill , Seasonic & I am aware that branded stuff is made in China too but then you don't call it made in china

I personally like Custom pcs as they're upgrade able & you can build them how ever you want to

People say Custom pcs can have incompatibility issues how ever I never ran into one probably cause I do research & read the reviews before buying the parts

Now the only benefit of having a Branded pre-built computer such as Dell , Hp , Lenvno etc is that all of their faults have been fixed , they're tested & One advantage of Branded PC's is you know that they will work and power up the first time you switch them on & you get Customer support number where as for Custom pcs you're on your own & forums like Toms hardware , Overclock.net & Linustechtips are your support

People say they use parts of the same brand unlike Custom pcs <---- That is not true I had a Hp technician as a friend & he told me they use MSI motherboards

Now I'll state the disadvantages of a Branded pc

1-They're only upgrade able to a certain extent
2- You cannot change their casing or motherboard to a different brand
3-You cannot add high end graphic cards to them ( due to lack of space) & if you're lucky & the casing has more space it would probably fit but I am sure the GPU would sag then
4-You cannot add big fans or Liquid coolers to them ( due to they don't have mounts for them although you can DIY through a drilling machine but not everybody knows how to use that)
5-Their power supplies are tier 4 & have small fan , low wattage , aren't modular & don't have 80+ ratings on them & they don't come with external PCI-E connectors such as 6 pin or 6+2pin which are needed for mid range or high end graphic cards ( I know you can get molex or sata to 6pin adapters but I don't recommend using them on a power supplies which don't even came with one 6 pin connector
6- Their motherboards don't have SLI/CROSSFIRE & they be m-atx (which are low end) I never seen a branded pc with a full ATX mobo
7- You cannot add a gaming power supply more than 550watts to them & if you do add a gaming power supply to them & they're mounted on the top of casing so it's fan will be at the bottom so it will throw hot air on the components where as in my Custom pc the psu is mounted at the bottom with it's fan facing down so it will throw hot air outside of the case & my case has a dust filter to prevent dust
8- They come with the OEM version of Windows ( which doesn't get any support from Microsoft & it's stuck to the motherboard )
9-They come with use less software's pre-installed / bloatware such as Norton & Mcaffee ( they suck , they slow down the pc & they're the worst )
10-They're expensive & they cost twice or thrice than Custom pcs & you build a Custom pc way cheaper with better specs
11- They don't have the ability to overclock
12- They don't have cable management mounts

There's a wide range of branded/pre-made PCs. None of your points really hold up.

Hell, my PC started out as a pre-made and now it's running SLI and full watercooling.

The fan is an intake, not exhaust. Neither setup moves hot air into the case.

An awful lot of your points are making big assumptions. They may be true for certain systems, but definitely not all of them.

1. The only limiting aspect is the case...

2. Yes you can. They often use standard mATX boards etc. making a case or mobo swap easy. Even then, nodding isn't that hard.

3. Cards like the mITX Asus 970 and 980 strip as well as the R9 Nano exist...

4. Kinda good point but some pre-builds have 120mm fan mounts. Again. Modding ain't hard for fan mounts....

5. Good point. They are shit but it's pretty easy to replace them.

6. They are often fine monks, even if they don't have multi card support. And mATX doesn't mean it's bad.

7. You lost me. Wtf are you talking about I put a 860w supply in an old pre built case... It's fine. And also some custom PC cases have top mounted PSUs and some prebuilt a have bottom mounted.

8. Ok sure why not.

9. Good point. It sucks but it's pretty easy to get rid of.

10. No. Completely untrue. Linus even made a video on the subject.

11. Depends. Some higher end ones from Acer or Asus have a Z chipset and a unlocked CPU. And you can still overclock the GPU

12. Yeah they don't. It sucks.

I just wanted to say you're the only person here that I find helpful the most where as rest of these guys post I find a bit rude & not helpful at all & btw what does strip graphic card mean? do you mean a low profile version of the GPU so it can easily fit? & the custom pc cases that have top mounted psus are like 20-30$ ones not worth buying ( correct me if I am wrong) & yeah bloatware is easy to get rid of just like installing Windows is easy asf but where as if you get done from the shop  they charge a lot & not everybody is good in pcs I've even met some people that don't even know which Windows they're using but what I am trying to say is doing it yourself is more fun lets say for an example an ASUS pc comes with Steam client as pre installed but where as if you  build a Custom pc & download & install it yourself you can choose in which partition you'd want it to be ( not saying you can't uninstall it & install it or clone it  in an other partition) what I am trying to say is when you do it yourself you can build & install it how ever you want it to be & what I was trying to say was Custom pcs can be cheaper is you can upgrade them parts by parts lets say for an example  you have 200$ , a branded pc has the same processor as the custom  & has a dedicated GPU & is 400$ you'd have to buy the branded pc as a complete whole & for the Custom pc you can have the same processor & use a 250gb hdd & without GPU  to save money & later get them
