OS for Console Emulation

Not sure if this fits in here exactly but anyways.

So I am wanting to do some emulation on my mac when I have nothing to do at work and maybe even at home, but I am unsure of which OS to use for this, of course I can bootcamp.

I want GBA (Mainly to play urbz), a system to play Metal Slug series (I enjoyed this and broforce) and maybe some timeless classics like Spyro, Crash and Medieval games.

Can OSX do this for me or will I need to bootcamp Windows?
