Laptop required for work

Hello LTT community!

 

I require a laptop around $400-500. I will use it solely for coding and web browsing. I am an extreme multi tasker and wish to get a laptop that does not hangs while I am running intensive applications or let's just say during 'work'. What I believe is that i7 will come handy for the stated purpose(dunno if i5 is good?). Laptop must have good battery time and....I don't know.

No. I meant that if the processor can handle intense multi tasking.
