SD Card Problems

Hi, I took some footage on my SD card (V-GEN 32 gb) and tried to delete it (I had 300 mb left) and take more footage (on my computer). After deleting some footage, it told me I had 300 mb of storage left. Confused, I deleted all of the footage on the SD card (the ones in 101 PHOTO folder) but it still told me I had 300 mb. I tried basically everything I know and even tried ejecting and formatting the drive via Disk Utility (I use a mac) but that just killed the SD card and only allowed me to take photos, no video (It showed "NO FORMAT" and won't let me take video). If anyone knows about this, please help. Thanks! (You can ask me for more info)
