Help With Picking A Keyboard+Mouse

Hello fellow LinusTechTips Forum masters,

 

I need some help deciding on which keyboard and mouse combo to purchase. I am new to the PC Master Race, so I want to start with a membrane keyboard. I have two choices that come to mind that are budget and have great reviews. 

 

1) GAMDIAS Ares 3 Colours RGY Gaming Keyboard + Mouse

From what I've read is that the Ares is good build quality but the brand is less known, Cooler Master Devastator II has mem-chanical switches.

Could someone help me decide on which to get?
