I'm building a new computer this summer, the parts aren't set in stone as off yet but here is what I have so far.

Motherboard - Asus z170-a

CPU - i7 6700k

CPU cooling - Corsair h100i

Ram - Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000mhz 16gb (2x8gb)

GPU - Thinking about either some 960gtx or 970gtx...

PSU - Corsair Rm650x

I would be using the computer for mostly gaming but some photo/video editing. I basically only play CS:GO and LoL and don't foresee me playing any heavier games. I also have a 144hz screen.

Any thoughts? Changes?

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

Only yours, you don't shitpost on the same level that we can, mainly because this thread is finally dead and should be locked.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

If you're going to be gaming at 4k or 1440p, I'd go with a 980 ti.

Otherwise, a 970 is fine.

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001

Oh forgot the resolution, 1920x1080, my old computer has a 2500k cpu along with gtx550ti.. so I'm thinking it's time for an upgrade! I recently bought a SSD though, so I'm bringing that over along with the HDD, hence no storage in the list.

My location is Iceland, so any budget I give is pretty warped since pc part prices vary heavily, the list I posted with a gtx960 for example is about 1700 USD which I'm pretty sure is ridiculously overpriced for what you're used to.
