I working on a clients Tyan server that was built for RiverBed and no ones claiming support. I need some help getting windows on this but its no allow windows to be installed. The problem i am having is that windows boots to the "loading windows files" and then it crashes, then reboots after loading them. I have tried to install windows on another machine and transfer that hard drive to it, when i do that it gets to the windows symbol and resets. Could anyone help me on this topic? 

This is a CUSTOM Tyan server originally built for RiverBed.

Specs:

Dual Amd Server 8 core cpus(didn't want to get the bios to look)

LSI SAS2008 Raid Controller built into the mobo(in IT mode)

Kingston Savage 250Gb SSD

4x 4000Gb Seagate Drives

65Gb of ddr3 Memory(Tested)

Are the parts new or used? If you can verify that the components support Windows software then it might be hardware failure. Did you try installing a different OS on it? Linux for example? (Just to see if it can do it not as a substitute to windows, if it fails on a different OS it is most likely hardware failure.)

 

What version of Windows are you trying to put on it?
