I'd say 7. Good build, performs well, excellent performance for gaming. You really need all that storage though? Plus the fact that you'll need to upgrade your GPU in a year or two.

Yeah, I need this storage+ more.

I'm thinking of buying a few 2TB hard drives in the future and removing my 500GB and 320GB and replacing both with another 2 2tb drives.

Depends entirely on use case. My perfect 10 build for my workstation would be fairly useless for most users. My perfect 10 gaming build may well only be someone else's 8.

This is probably more useful:

(Assuming yours is a gaming rig, based on the CPU choice)

CPU has a decent 24/7 overclock, right choice for gaming. If you had a H80i/H100i then 4.6 would be the target.

That's the sweet spot for RAM, if you can get a perfectly stable 1800 then do it. If not, don't worry.

Storage solution is quite random, I'm but assuming you've thought through your use case, so it's hard to say without more info.

That GPU will lack the grunt for upcoming games (even some current ones) and SLI can be a real pain. Go at least 770 when the price drops as 800 series launches.

The lack of even a small SSD as a boot drive is unacceptable in my eyes, mostly because I am so used to SSD performance.

MOBO is pretty okay.

If you really want a number, I'd give it a 6. But that is only for my use case as a gaming rig. Like I said, if it works for you then crack on :)

Wait for the new AMD GPUs or get a 7950. You would be well off with 8GB of RAM if all you do is game. Other than that, it's good.

I guess I would give it an 8, but do you really need 16GB RAM?

I did when it was only £10 more in a special offer ;) Overclocked like a champ too :)
