Upgrade to pascal?

I have an EVGA GTX 760 FTW card. Should I wait for the 1070/1080 and buy one of them. If so, a 1070 or 1080?

 

BTW have a 4790 non K CPU.

At this point, you should wait. Which one you go for depends on your budget. If you can afford it, go for the 1080. I'd wait for both to come out first though, so you can compare how both perform and their actual prices.

Yeah that's probably the best idea, and I'm not really in a hurry to get a new GPU. And one of the pascal cards is probably waaaay to overkill for 1920x1200. Right?

Yes, I would personally pick a 1440p monitor along with a 1070.

By the sounds of things, the 1080 will be, but the 1070 might not be. At 60Hz. both of them are more than you need, for sure. A 1440p and/or high refresh rate monitor would be a good pair with them.

Yes. If 1920x1200 is what your after the 1070 is pretty much your perfect match
