Not sure if spraying them will be good.

Cover the threads.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Any normal spray paint should work right?

And for painting the top: 1271661-fractal-design-arc-midi-r2-monta

And the front

Would that be the same process?

Uh... I dont know.... Go to your local hardware store, and ask them what spray paint to use for brushed ally.

I meant painting the metal on the top. and the front.

Yep he was refering to the brushed aluminium which is the front. For each you probably just need a good primer and you should be fine. Just make sure you do light coats and spray evenly. If possible, bring the parts to your local hardware store and they can recommend a primer and paint that won't eat away at the material.

Preparation is the most important part, the more work you put into preparation, the better the final result will look. So whatever you don't want painted, tape up well.

After the primer you should be able to use a wide range of paints, enamel, etc.

For the screws, just tape up the threads and paint the tops or whichever part will be displayed.

Thanks, Will post when this build is finished.

I'm going for a black arc midi R2 with green highlights Screws, cables , lights etc.

I think the best way to paint the screws without painting my fingers is to put all the screws in a straight row in Styrofoam so they don't wiggle and fly out
