So my problem here is that whenever I get any sort of sound in my headset (Siberia v3) I hear this really annoying distorted/clipping noise and I feel like it happens when the audio hits a certain frequency. It happens with every audio source so I don't believe in bad audio quality. I double checked my headset cord to make sure it is properly connected and it is. It's also connected in the back of my PC. Could this mean my headset is breaking down?

So it also does this with your phone... If yes throw that shit out and get headphones and a mic. If there is still warranty on them RMA them then.

Thought so... I eagerly wanted to have a headset last year because I never liked the idea of a separate microphone but just proves how terrible headsets are :/

The clouds are pretty good and so are the sennheiser game one/zero. So not all headsets are bad, most are though.
