Turbo CPU Fan speeds temporarily?

BiscuitMassacre

I have an Asus Z97-AR motherboard with an i5 4690k 4.5Ghz.  I have it setup in my BIOS to keep the fan speeds at 'Silent'. Sometimes I want to be able to just open a program and just press one button to enable Max out CPU fan speeds during heaving gaming, but after I turn off the feature, it goes back to the BIOS setting. Better yet, I would really like to make a physical button my case. Like replace the Reset switch with turbo fan speeds in qfan, that would be nice. I have already used Ai Suite III and it had other problems. I would not like use Speedfan, I want something a little more simple.

great idea, but i am going to be getting the Razer S340, and unfortunately NZXT isn't a 5.25 fan.

NZXT is a company, not a fan

definitely not a 5.25 inch fan :P

imo fan xpert is your best bet

or you can mod your case for a switch of some sort to toggle between 7v and 12v? :D

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

lol... I knew someone would point out that accidental pun. Do you anything about how to do that?

you bet i don't :D

or rather, im lazy to google to find out exactly how to

pretty sure its just a resistor of a couple ohms in between the 2nd wire of the fan (LNA) vs no resistor
