When I turn on my computer it shows multiple post screens before turning on.

This only occured after updating to the latest bios verson on my asus p8z68-m pro

I always recommend people to NOT update their bios unless it's needed. This has always been the easiest way to brick your mobo. But on this forum, people seem to think it's a common practice but it's not.

I was required to update it to fix a compatibility issue with my corsair h80

I've never heard of that... Are you sure it wasn't a Corsair Link firmware update warning?

My mobo vendor pushed a patch to fix compatibility with some usb devices and it seemed to fix a fan issue I was having with my corsair h80 (something to do with the way the usb interfaced with the corsair because the fans are controled through corsair)
