Hi,

I'm thinking about getting G.SKILL for my new build (16GB (2 x 8GB) TridentZ Series DDR4 PC4-25600 3200MHz for Intel Z170 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GTZ)

All 5 stars on amazon, Gigabyte tech claimed I would be overclocking the CPU with 3200MHz. Is that true?

Can anyone recommend good RAM for me if not this?

Thanks

XMP profiles have a tendency to fiddle with the base clock which in turn leads to altered cpu clocks. From what I've read ddr4 2666 and 3000 are sweet spots for performance, beyond that whatever brand you like, although G.skill markets their ripjaws v series as optimized for skylake idk if it actually makes a difference though
