Weird starting behavior

Ok So I build my computer in January and it has been running like a dream. However yesterday I was watching a youtube video and it the sound was strange like scattering. I restarted my computer and the bios first screen scatter and it took much longer to turn on my computer once I am on the windows starting screen it works normal again. What could cause that? is it fixable?
