Hello everyone,

I am thinking of giving my CM Mastercase 5 Pro a new look with a matt carbon fiber wrap (the ones they use on cars).

Does anyone have any experience with using wraps made for cars to mod a PC case? The only thing I can think of that could possibly pose a Problem, is that the case is too "rough" for the wrap to stick properly.

Thanks!

you will need a fluid between the wrap and the case especially if the surface is rough. i would just take the case apart and try it on a smaller surface. or maybe go into a car shop where they wrap professionally and ask them.

to be honest the whole carbon fiber thing is getting old. i would suggest to get a good glossy finish in like light blue. you dont see something like that on pc's very often.

lol what ''fluid''?

The wrap usually have glue that you heat up

If your interested I have a guide here that goes over Vinyl Wrap, but as mentioned by other it will work without any issues. If you can get a hold of some of the 3M branded vinyl wrap they are regarded to be some of the best.
