USB Flash Drive quality?

 Curious, what are your thoughts on the Kingston Datatraveler Micro USBs? They're currently going for 5$ for a 16GB one

USB drives costs are really low now. My Datatraveler 32GB (USB 3.0) costs less than 10€. Goes as fast as a 3.0 drive can and never failed (I have a live Linux OS on it)

I'd totally lose it. I think Nand memory is just becoming extremely cheap to make.
I read on some SSD review that the 'lower' quality chips made in a batch end up in flash drives.
Could be a bunch of factors, no? Buying one at most is only a $5 loss, though.
