For a power supply i would try and stick with the theme of your case. For example if you get a corsair case then i would go with a Corsair power supply. I know it sounds stupid but personally if you do this the power supply will have no trouble in fitting within your case. Some cases you see don't fit with certain brands, a friend of mine bought a Corsair power supply and tried to place it in his NZXT case (can't remember what type it is) and it didn't fit and he had to return it. You can go for a different PSU from the case by all means go for it i just find it easier

get a skylake i5.

Would a 500 watt psu be good enough???

also i dont think u will need a cpu cooler, i use stock and it works geeat.

If he wants a unlocked CPU, he have to get a cooler as the unlocked ones do not come with the stock cooler. I would recommend a Cooler Master Hyper Evo

That's a terrible idea. PSU compatibility is all about length, brand and case compatibility has nothing to do with it. Not every Corsair PSU fits in every Corsair case, it's the length that matters not matching the brands. This mentality makes no sense.

I suggest getting a quality unit. I'd get an Antec High Current Gamer, an EVGA G2, GS or GQ or any PSU from XFX or Seasonic. These PSUs are all really solid picks and are super reliable.

Check out this list: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html. Pick any power supply in Tier 1 or Tier 2.
