CPU usage at 100%

so recently , my cpu usage is constantly at even though im idling . the moment i boot up my system , it goes to 100% usage and stays there  .. any help ?

What are your system specs? I sometimes have found this during a automatic update.

System specs are :

Cpu : i7-4770

Mobo : idk some prebuilt shit

Ram : 8GB

GPU : Gt 640

Its a prebuilt system i got 3 years ago , but im building a new system with some of the parts from this one .

Hi. Can you please click the little arrow outside the process and screenshot it so we can see exactly what service is using the cpu?

Check Windows update and see if it's installing updates. Looks like Windows Update.

Open the start button (or click the windows key.). Click Settings. And click Updates and Security.

Let it be for a few hours. If it's stuck at the same update after a few hours you should try and restart.

ERRR UPDATE:

its been a few hours and its still at 100% and windows update is staying still at 0% . Restarting it does not work as it will rise up to 100% again ... how screwed am i

Open file explorer and open the Windows folder. Then search after a file called Windows Update log. Can you try and attach it on here?

im really sorry to disturb but it still doesnt work .. the update is forever stuck at 1%

then i don't know what to do. Try and reinstall.
