You can download it right from microsoft if you log into any of the services (onedrive, office, etc.).  It's just a small file and it will download and install office automatically.

something like that? o.O

good example.  From that page you should be able to navigate to the install page.  I think this is a direct link, if you're already logged in: https://portal.office.com/Home#

Oh well yes, my link is for a "corporate" account, such as your workplace, school etc.  They may provide you with office, and if so, that's where you'd go to install it :)

Do you understand that you have to pay to use the Microsoft word?

I didn't think to ask that :) But it is also relevant to mention that the "basic" versions (word for android, word online (iirc), etc.) can be accessed for free with an account.

But the Microsoft office (student and home) is only like $100 for the 2016 version. It includes: word, excel, powerpoint etc.

It is pretty worth it to just buy the office suit if you are going to use it regularly.

Yeah the online version is free. But to actually install on the PC I believe it is like $100, which honestly it is totally worth it. However, if you do not want to pay you can "obtain" it through other "means". Cannot say anymore... The Government is watching .

Edit: Forgot to mention, another way is just getting Libre Office or Open Office which is free and can import/export .DOCX, .PPTC, and .EXLSX... etc

(I would just try both and see which one you like the most)
