how do i know what chrome is the real one? or can you make it so the others dont show up?

so in task manager there is 8 chromes running and idk what one is the real one. i assume the rest are extensions? or maybe its a bug idk but how do i know what one is the real chrome browser

Guess the one with most RAM usage :P

Mine does that too, I think that they are extentions.

They are extensions....so you'll have to close the one with the highest RAM usage..if that  doesnt work out , upload something on the internet, and see which one has the max disk usage.....then close it......

 

Or you could just close them one by one...because extensions dont matter if you are going to close chrome anyway...

 

 

 

EDIT: I overlooked the fact that you didnt want to close them...sorry :D

i was thinking that too, but then i saw one with more CPU use and less RAM usage so i didnt know

Google chrome runs tabs and plugins (like flash player) in separate processes so if one dies, the others will be fine.

It's intentional.

Every tab and extension is Chrome is sandboxed, hence there are multiple processes. If you want to see which process is what exactly use Chrome's task manager. (Shift-Esc)

thanks that really helps its the one with the most CPU usage for me.
