Portable Speaker?

I'm looking for something that we can plug into our phones or old MP3 players to amplify music. It's mostly for the bathroom or out on the porch where a computer is ideal for listening to music. It doesn't need to be wireless or anything, in fact I prefer the reliability of traditional wired electronics over things like blue tooth. I'm just looking for whatever is the best quality under 25 dollars. The phone speakers just don't produce loud enough volume on their own over the sounds of say the shower,clothes washer/dryer in the bathroom where we like to listen to music or when I'm working outdoors and don't sit right in one spot near the speaker.

 

The first thing to jump at me is this one with the "#1 best seller" tag with 1000 reviews.

I have Xiaomi Square Box speaker, but it only has bluetooth, no line-in.

Both of them look pretty good for basic wired phone speakers.

I mean overall the best sounding highest quality Bluetooth speaker that is portable I have ever listened to is the Jawbone Big Jam Box. That is one monster of a speaker for its price tag, however the problem is its price tag...
