Sreen tearing

I keep getting screen tearing when ever I watch a video or play a video game. Any one know how to fix this?

Turn on vsync

Thx I already use v-sync but I'll try equalizing my refresh rate.

Yeah often vsync doesn't cut it. Gsync and Freesync are much better alternatives, so try those

Soo.... Most of the time VSync DOES cut it if your PC isn't a pile of crap, and even then, I don't think the OP is going to go and drop 300+ dollars on a GSync or FreeSync monitor just to fix a little screen tearing.

Well idk what kind of rig he has. He could have a monster pc or a $75 lenovo notebook. Who knows

I have a custom built pc, and I am using a gtx 960.

Say the dude rocking 2 980Ti's. Jk, I wouldn't call the 960 a good card either since I got a R9 290 at the same price point.
