Oh, sorry for mistyping. It is now corrected since it caused you confusion.

I'd totally agree with that.

True, the h110 boards are pretty bad but a new one could always be bought if that was the case.

Sarcasm.

The FX8300 is a very rarely seen chip,

which is mostly only used in OEM systems.

It has a 3.3GHz base clock.

So you need to overclock it a bit.

But yeah the question is, how high you could go on your lowerend board, without voltage throttle.

Yeah I know but being budget your options are limited so I guess I gotta look at DDR3 1866 or 2133 prices to pair it up with

Well to be fair, for just firestrike benchmarks, i would not upgrade anything.

Because those benchmarks dont realy mean a whole lot.

Higherspeed ram isnt going to improve you much.

Next to that, FX8300 with a mild overclock to lets say 4.0Ghz should have no problems with a GTX960 in most games.

And if you use Northbridge overclocking, then you will also overclock your ram a bit, depending on your motherboard capabilities.

I did a little bit of overclocking on the GTX 960 and my 8 core system is running stable at 3.6 and this was the score I gotten on Fire Strike I think I am ready for gaming now
